Today Micah sang the ABC song all the way through with us for the first time. He has loved listening to us sing it for a long time and would sometimes mouth or even say some of the letters but tonight was the first time he sang it all the way through. We were so excited and proud. He asked to do it again about 5 times in a row. It was very cute.
We are amazed at how much he is learning all the time. It’s kinda funny to hear him use some certain phrases that we use, like “that’s crazy!” or “all kinds of cars/toys/things/etc”. We have to be more carefull what we say though because he also picks up phrases we may not like him using as much. His memory is impressive too. He surprises us sometimes by remembering and talking about something that we did 3 days before.
Micah also has been going to a “new big boy class” as he calls it at church for a few weeks now. He moved up from the toddler nursery to the 2- & 3-year-olds Sunday School class. He seems to like it pretty well. They still have play time and snacks, but also a little more structure with a Bible story and related activities.
