I love Legoland. I wish we lived closer; I would totally buy passes and go there at least once a month. But the two hour minimum drive is not worth it.
Anyway, we had free tickets that were about to expire so we went last Saturday. We had lunch there and played for a couple hours and then the boys were beat and we headed home. Micah liked seeing the cars made of Lego blocks and playing on the big ones. They both enjoyed the Water Works fountains, Duplo play zone, and the Playtown playground. We also rode the Fairy Tale Brook boat ride which was cute. I like that there are so many different areas to just play without having to wait in line. Miniland is also amazing to just walk around and look at all the places they have made Lego replicas of. They had a brand new section in Miniland featuring Las Vegas which was neat to see. I wished Micah could have done the Volvo Jr. Driving School where 3-5 year olds can drive their own car around a little track. But the line was 45 minutes long which was just not worth it. I think Micah was just as happy watching the other kids drive for a little bit then just playing on the stationary cars nearby. It was a fun day. It’s kind of expensive, but if you can get a good deal on tickets somehow I would definitely recommend visiting.
