We spent last weekend in Yosemite for the annual Loberg Fall Climb. It was a long drive, especially since we were staying closer to the north side of the park, but wow, was it a beautiful hike. The boys actually did great on the drive. We stayed at the Evergreen Lodge which was very comfortable and had lots of cool activities on-site. We would definitely stay there again. We hiked across the O’Shaughnessy Dam and along the north side of the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. Such beautiful views all around. The boys were excited to go hiking. Caleb walked a good part of it, although Sam carried him the the backpack carrier on the rockier parts of the trail. We only went about a mile and found this great spot with lots of flat rocks to stop for lunch. Then we went back the way we came to the car and back to the lodge for naps. It was a fun trip.
On a side note: Micah’s activity in his Cubbies book for the week was to take a walk and find 10 things God made. How cool for Micah to get to do that activity in Yosemite!
